Disneyland

Today we went to Disneyland and it was raining.  I was so excited to take Andrew again.  We went last year at Christmas time and it was so neat to see all the lights.  This year, we didn't stay very long because it was raining so hard.  Andrew went on Thunder Mountain and loved it.  He said that it was only scary in the dark tunnels. After that ride, we were pretty much soaked. Andrew had very few requests. After Thunder Mountain, he wanted to go on the Carosel and he wanted to see Mickey Mouse.  Last year, Andrew was afraid of the Carosel but this year, he loved it.  Then we were off to see Mickey Mouse.  Lucky for us, we got to see Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus riding in a big car waving to all those standing by.  In the next car was Mickey Mouse and Minnie.  Going to Disneyland in the rain was an adventure.  By the time we had done all the things that Andrew wanted, he was wet from the knees down and he said that his feet were squishy.  Despite all of the rain, Andrew said that he had fun.  I can't wait to go back again when it isn't raining.  Maybe next time we can take Aaron.
