Getting Big!

Aaron is getting so big. He loves to play outside, with cars, with Andrew's train, and with blocks. It is so exciting to watch him explore the world with curiosity. We love you Aaron!

Tustin Tiller Days

This year we joined the Bullocks for the annual Tustin Tiller Days.  Andrew had so much fun riding all of the rides and hanging out with his cousins.

In August, Gramps had surgery and asked that we take care of Tessa while he is in the hospital.  Tessa is enjoying her stay with us.

Irvine Park

Irvine Park with the Bullock's was a lot of fun.  We went to the zoo, road the train and fed the ducks. Andrew enjoyed exploring on the trails and Aaron liked petting the goats.

Miss Heidi

This summer Andrew took swim lessons for 5 weeks from Miss Heidi. He can now swim all by himself. When swim lessons started, Andrew was afraid to put his face in the water. He has come a long way. Thank you Miss Heidi!!

Aaron can Swim TOO

While Andrew had his first few swim lessons, Aaron sat back and patiently watched.  Then he became restless and wanted to get in the pool too.  The only way this would work was for Mommy to get in the pool too.  While Miss Heidi worked with Andrew, she helped Mommy teach Aaron to swim.  After only a few lessons, Aaron was able to jump off the edge, into the water and hold his breath.

The Dentist is Cool!

Andrew had his check up with Dr. Osaki.  He did great during the x-rays and when the Dr. took a look at all of his teeth.

"I Can Do it Myself"

Swim Lessons

Andrew had his first swim lesson with Miss Heidi. He learned how to blow bubbles in the water, use a kick board, and float on his back. Andrew is still a little afraid of putting his goggles in the water. Eight more lessons to go.

Mommy and Daddy went to Las Vegas for the weekend and this is what we saw when we came home. Aaron had way too much fun at Mimi's house.

A Few of my Favorite Things

Today I gave Andrew my camera and asked him to take some pictures of his favorite things.



The first picture he took was of his "Thinking Chair." It was a bonus that Aaron was sitting in it.




Then Andrew ran to the back slider and said "I love to play outside!"



After that, he was looking around in the kitchen for something that he really likes. He wanted to take a picture of the bananas because they are his favorite fruit.

  

With a big grin, Andrew said, "I love to play my games on the computer!"


 

Then the last thing that he wanted to take a picture of was his tools.  He said that this was his favorite toy because he gets to work on it with Daddy.
